Intellinet, a management consulting and Microsoft-centric technology services firm, announced today that experts Melissa Coates, Leo Furlong, and Geoff Hiten, will be presenting this weekend at SQL Saturday in Atlanta on May 18, 2013.
Melissa Coates, Architect at Intellinet and Microsoft MVP, will present an intermediate level session entitled So You Want To Be A Rockstar Report Developer. During this session she will discuss various development, standardization, deployment, and documentation practices to make SSRS development easier, produce higher quality output, increase maintainability, and ultimately save time.
Expanding Self-Service BI with Excel 2013 is a beginner level session presented by Leo Furlong and will explore new features of Excel 2013 such as PowerPivot, Power View, Quick Explore, Quick Analysis, Timeline Slicers, and Flash Fill that enable users to rapidly mash-up, explore, analyze, and visualize any data ranging from a few rows to hundreds of millions of rows. Leo Furlong is the Practice Director of Business Intelligence at Intellinet. He specializes in Microsoft BI and front-end tools.
Geoff Hiten, Principal SQL Server Consultant for Intellinet and Microsoft MVP, will lead the beginner level session entitled Smart Rats Leave First. During this session, he will discuss how to use job transitions as opportunities for career development.
In addition, a special lunch session on Insights to Better Team Management will be presented by Intellinet's Senior Practice Director of Management Consulting, Ed Wyatt.
