Intellinet, a management consulting and Microsoft-centric technology services firm, announced today that experts John Ramminger, Lee Reed, Michael Greene, Mike Oryszak, and Paul Wood were recently selected to present at SharePoint Saturday in Atlanta on June 2, 2012.
John Ramminger will present SharePoint Farm Maintenance & Troubleshooting to IT Pros. This session will cover the basics of SharePoint farm maintenance and will discuss tools to help maintain a SharePoint environment as well as best practices for backups and disaster recovery.
Making Life Easier with PowerShell will be taught by Michael Greene. The session will begin with a familiarization of PowerShell and progress into capabilities and usage scenarios of the out of the box SharePoint 2010 cmdlets.
Mike Oryszak will give the presentation Introduction to Developing FAST Queries. This session will cover leveraging FAST Search and FAST Query Language within custom solutions to drive dynamic, relevant content. He will also cover the differences between object models and offer a primer on FAST Query Language (FQL) enabling attendees to get ahead of the curve and leverage these services within their customizations.
Knowledge Management Environments in SharePoint, will be presented by Lee Reed to End Users. His presentation will outline the required elements for building an effective knowledge management environment on the SharePoint 2010 platform and how to encourage users to adopt the solution.
Paul Wood will teach End Users Making SharePoint Data "Sing" with Visio Services. The session will cover a quick overview of Visio Services configuration, Visio 2010 tips and tricks, and connecting Visio diagrams to data in SharePoint. Several demos throughout the session will enable attendees to leave with the knowledge needed to immediately start using Visio Services.
