Intellinet and Microsoft Unify to Provide Clients with Unified Communications (UC) Solutions

July 12, 2007

Intellinet Corporation ( announced today their inclusion in the Microsoft Unified Communications Voice Partner Program. As one of only 25 partners in the United States to be invited to join this program, Intellinet will serve clients as a national system integrator to deliver Microsoft's Unified Communications solutions-including technologies such as Microsoft® Active Directory Server, Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007, and Microsoft® Office Communications Server 2007.

"Microsoft has continued to build additional functionality into their flagship products, like Exchange, with each release. Clients now, for the first time, will be able to afford the benefits of combining technologies such as VoIP, voice mail, presence and fax, into a single, unified platform, all without the need to purchase expensive hardware. Furthermore, this all happens while clients use their existing investments in PBX and phones," said Keith Lynch, director of core infrastructure at Intellinet. "UC solutions have become a differentiator in tearing down communications barriers for our clients, making the lives of their employees and clients much simpler and more profitable. Ultimately, being selected as a founding partner of the Microsoft Voice Partner Program is a great honor for us and enables Intellinet to help more customers build connections by simplifying how people work together."

The goal of the Microsoft Unified Communications Voice Partner Program is to create a partner ecosystem consisting of a focused set of partners with unique technical skills and business objectives. As a member of the program, Intellinet will be better equipped to help clients solve complicated communication problems. The company will also be closer aligned with Microsoft to help "People_Ready" businesses integrate next-generation technologies with their existing phone, fax and e-mail systems to remain competitive in the marketplace.

"During the Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging training held at Microsoft's EMEA headquarters in Reading, UK last December, Microsoft's Unified Messaging Product Architect, Cliff Didcock, recognized that we were one of the first partners in the world to be certified in and deploy unified communications solutions almost 15 years ago. This kind of recognition and our inclusion in the program is a great testament to the expanded portfolio of solutions that we've continued to build upon to ensure the success of our customers," stated Frank Bell, Founder and CEO of Intellinet.
